Ely Energy designs and manufactures propane, batch type solvent extraction systems and effluent free refinining technologies for essential oils. An essential oil is a concentrated, hydrophobic liquid containing volatile aromatic compounds from plants. The term essential is intended to indicate the oil is the fragrant essence of the plant from which it is extracted. Essential oils are used in perfumes, aromatherapy, cosmetics, and incense and for flavoring foods and to a less extent in health care and household cleaning products. Their primary value, however, is to the flagrance and flavoring sectors. Our process demonstrates the viability of high extraction efficiencies using propane.
