11-08-2007 - Sabic – Europe Process Equipment Project via Jacobs Engineering

Ely Energy was contracted by Jacobs Engineering (Netherlands) to design and manufacture a redundant hydrocarbon vaporization system for a process application at the SABIC Europe in Geleen. In 2006, SABIC Europe produced 3.0 million metric tons of polyolefins and 5.7 million metric tons of basic chemicals, mainly for the European market. SABIC, headquartered in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), is one of the world's top 10 petrochemical companies and is the largest non-oil company in the Middle East. Jacobs’ Meerssen office has been in operation since 1992 and is staffed by 150 personnel providing project services from basic design and detailed engineering to project and planning & control management.
